from the goodies I got from Michaels....
a new tool and $1 bird house.
I love gnomes. And fairies. And Smurfs. And garden figurine or magical creature of any kind. Anyone remember David the Gnome show? I loved that show. I remember my Grandma had tiny gnomes in one of her house plants. They were so fun and one of my favorite things. I actually only own two small gnomes. I really want a bigger one. One day....
Anyways....
They all need a place to live right?! The birdhouse was a perfect size. A great addition to any garden.
Just cut out a door...
I used a utility knife
Sand it down if desired
Pencil in decorative markings of your liking. I choose to make mine a toadstool so I did circles on top.
Use a wood burner and trace over the designs.
Paint.
A nice turquoise paint job inside. A gnomes got to live in style, right?
It looks right at home.
A gnome home. :)
Project inspiration found Lil Blue Boo.
