cargo duffle 2

Another Cargo Duffle! (Pattern from Noodlehead.)This one went a lot smoother than my first. I worked out the kinks with the first and now with the second I knew the pattern and what I was doing. Oh, they are so fun!

This one is going to a little boy who just turned two! Not a very exciting present for a two year old but it is something he can use for years to come. And it was an excuse to make another duffle!

For the pockets I decided to put some Velcro instead of snaps, easier for little hands.

And added a lining. Love the lining idea! (Find lining tutorial here.)It covers all of my not so good to look at sewing lines. Top side looks good, inside (canvas side) looks bad. I just hand sewed it in.

... there may be more to come. Working on one for myself now! :)

  1. Stacy, I love the velcro! And the color scheme here. The snaps were by far the most difficult step for me. And I think that you're right - velcro is better for little hands. Looking forward to seeing your next one finished up:)
