little recycled notebooks

I have another easy and fast Make It Green project for you today….

Do you have a stack of paper by your printer with only one side of the paper printed on? Those rough drafts, missed printed, printer alignment pages that you planned on using so you wouldn’t waste so much paper? I DO! But I never remember to use them… you know, to print off a coupon or something so you wouldn’t have to use a brand new white piece of paper? So now I’m stuck with a stack of one sided papers. What to do? I made mini notebooks with them!
I just took my stack and cut it in quarters using a ruler and exacto knife.

Cut the same size card stock for a cover and backing {I used my bigger scraps of cardstock that I had}.

Stack them {I used 10 sheets with a front and back cover}.
Sew a zigzag stitch down one side.

Repeat as many times as you want!

Now you have little notebooks to put in your purse, next to the phone, for the kids, or anywhere you need to write a note or a list.
