handmade buttons

I love buttons. And I was thinking of ways to make my own. My first thought was wooden buttons! I have a lot of wooden heart shapes and some round disks. Just drill some holes and paint! Pretty easy!!

Marked out where to put the button holes and drilled.

I used a few different sized holes for the buttons.

Also, used my wood burner to add some details.

One reason I wanted to make my own buttons is because I wanted to find buttons with holes big enough to fit these plastic needles. But no luck. So I made some!
