Here are some simple Valentine’s Day projects for the kids.
{I'm sorry for the poor quality photos! Only had my camera phone. While it can be great at times, it doesn't do best in low light. :-/}
Heart garland:
Cut out hearts or use a heart punch and then hole punch two holes in the middle of the heart. Have the kids string the hearts onto a piece of yarn. This project is great for fine motor skills and you will have a handmade decoration as a final product!
Heart stained glass mobile:
Attach hearts with string and then hang.
I love the way the layered tissue paper looks when it is hung in the windows. So pretty!
Heart wreath:
Super simple! Just take a piece of cardboard and cut into a wreath shape and let the kids glue on hearts any which way.
I’ll owl-ways be your friend owls:
This project I cut out shapes out of construction paper for owls and let the kids glue them together. I showed them what the owls looked like and then they glued the pieces in place. Fine motor skills, memory and place recognition are all being practiced while doing this project!
Here is an owl that I created that you can use as a template. Or just to color!
{template for personal use only, thank you!} |
Have fun! :)
